AvestaPolarit Inaugurated World's Largest Stainless Steel Plant in Tornio
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- AvestaPolarit: today marks the end of a 3-year phase in the investment project to more than double the steelmaking and rolling capacity for stainless steel at AvestaPolarit's Tornio Works. This project is the most ambitious in Outokumpu Group's history, and by far the largest since the company first began stainless steel production in Tornio in the mid-1970s. It makes the Tornio Works the largest and most modern stainless steel facility in the world.
Nordea sells Nordisk Renting to The Royal Bank of Scotland
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nordea (Other OTC:NRDAF) (Other OTC:NRDEF) has today signed an agreement to sell all the shares in Nordisk Renting AB to The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. The price is EUR 104m after Nordea having received a dividend of EUR 134m. The deal is expected to be finalised during June and will result in a gain of approximately EUR 30m.
Scania Longline -- Extended R-cab in Production
SODERTALJE, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- At press conference in Marrakech, Morocco, Scania today announced its decision to put its concept truck with the extended cab and a living area behind the driver on the market. Called Scania Longline, the new truck cab gives drivers access to much more living space, comfort and convenience. The cab is offered exclusively in combination with Scania's most powerful V8 engine and production will start in September 2003.

The shares have been acquired at an average price of NOK 73.99.
