Volvo Aero and SAS Sign Contract Worth 1.8 Billion
GOTEBORG, Sweden, April 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Volvo Aero and Scandinavian Airlines (Other OTC:SASDF) have signed a contract whereby Volvo Aero is becoming the principal supplier of engine overhaul services for Scandinavian Airlines' and Spanair's MD80 fleet of aircraft. The contract, which covers the period up to and including 2006, is expected to be worth SEK 1.8 billion to Volvo Aero.
Smedvig Secures Contract Extension for West Pelaut
STAVANGER, Norway, April 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Smedvig (NYSE:SMVa) (NYSE:SMVb) has been awarded a new contract extension by Brunei Shell Petroleum for the semi-submersible self-erecting tender rig, West Pelaut. The production drilling assignment has a firm duration of five-years, with annual renewal options for another five years. The contract value for the firm period is estimated to approximately US $100 million.
Atlas Copco Finalizes Acquisition of DreBo
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Atlas Copco (Other OTC:ATLKY): after approval from regulatory authorities, Atlas Copco Holding GmbH has today acquired DreBo Werkzeugfabrik GmbH, Altshausen, Germany, a manufacturer of carbide tipped masonry drilling products. DreBo's distribution center in the United States is included in the acquisition. The purchase price was not disclosed.

MTG: RIX FM Becomes Number One Radio Station in Sweden
