Sign On Obtains Patent in Sweden
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The listed company Sign On has received a decision from PRV -- the Swedish Patent & Registration Office -- that its patent application concerning a method for the secure transmission of electronically signed documents via the Internet has now been approved in Sweden. Sign On's product, called FormPipe, fulfils the patentability requirements of innovation, level of invention, and industrial applicability.

Atlas Commences Mining Operations at White Cliffs and Announces Financial Results for Second Quarter
DENVER, Aug. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Atlas Minerals Inc. (OTCBB:ATMR) (the "Company") announced today it has commenced commercial mining operations on its White Cliffs diatomite mine, located approximately 30 miles north of Tucson, Arizona. First production from the property has been pre-sold primarily as livestock feed supplement. Initial shipment of ore, under a 220-ton per month sales contract, is scheduled for next week. The White Cliffs mine and existing on-site processing facility are capable of sustaining an annual production rate of at least 50,000 tons per year.

Breakthrough Deal for Telia in Europe
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telia International Carrier (Telia IC) has received an order for IP- transit that makes them a leading supplier of IP-transit to the university networks in Europe. The new order for IP-transit comes from DANTE on behalf of 18 European National Research and Education Networks. The deal, constituting one of Telia IC's largest IP-transit deals ever, is a multimillion euro and three year contract.
Atlas Copco Sold its Controlling Stake in Revathi Equipment
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Atlas Copco has closed the deal made in April 2002, and sold its 40% shareholding in mining equipment manufacturer Revathi Equipment Limited (Revathi), India, to Utkal Investments. The selling price was MSEK 78, generating a profit after estimated tax of MSEK 20-30.
Mandamus leaves Valdemarsvik
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Aug. 22, 2002 (PRIMEZONE)-- During August, Mandamus has disposed of its entire property stock in Valdemarsvik for SEK 38.5m, at a sale loss of SEK 10.6m. The stock sold comprised 10 residential properties containing 251 flats with a total rentable area of 18,196 m2. This sale represents a shortfall of some SEK 11m in rental income, and around SEK 3.2m in net operating income (NOI). The deal is of a structural type and in line with Mandamus' strategy of concentrating its activities in a few growth areas. Since year-end 2001, Mandamus has entirely left five municipalities and now owns built-up sites in 31 municipalities.
