Telelogic and Partners Propose New Foundation for OMG's Model Driven Architecture
MALMO, Sweden and IRVINE, Calif., June 26, 2002(PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today at the Object Management Group(TM) (OMG(TM)) technical meeting announced that it has, in conjunction with other members of the U2 Partners consortium, proposed a major revision to the Unified Modeling Language(TM) (UML(TM)) standard. The core technology submitted to the OMG is a UML Infrastructure Library that can be flexibly reused for UML 2.0 and other future OMG Model Driven Architecture(TM) (MDA) standards, such as the Meta Object Facility for repositories and the Common Warehouse Metamodel for data warehouses. The modeling library is designed to make MDA tools more efficient to implement and integrate with each other.
Stolt-Nielsen S.A. Reports Second Quarter and Half-Year Results
LONDON, June 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stolt-Nielsen S.A. (Nasdaq:SNSA) (Oslo Stock Exchange:SNI) today reported results for the second quarter and the six-month period ended May 31, 2002. Net loss for the latest quarter was $0.6 million, or $0.01 per share, on net operating revenue of $697.7 million, compared with a net profit of $4.8 million, or $0.09 per share, on net operating revenue of $644.3 million for the second quarter in 2001. The weighted basic average number of shares outstanding for the second quarter of 2002 was 54.9 million, which was the same as the second quarter of 2001.
