PurchasePro Names Two New Directors to Board
LAS VEGAS, June 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- PurchasePro (Nasdaq:PPROD) today officially announced the appointment of Thomas H. Lowe, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Sterling Commerce; and Anthony C. D'Augustine, a private investor, to its board of directors. Mr. Lowe and Mr. D'Augustine replace Martha Layne Collins and R. Todd Bradley on the board.
Blyth, Inc Outlines 2nd Quarter and Increases Fiscal Year 2002 Guidance
GREENWICH, Conn., June 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Blyth, Inc (NYSE:BTH) today announced that, based on management's expectations at this time, it anticipates reporting second quarter Earnings Per Share of $0.38 -- $0.40 versus $0.27 in the same period a year ago. For the full year, excluding the effect of the newly effective SFAS 142, management presently anticipates that Earnings Per Share will be in excess of $1.95. The change in accounting principles effected by SFAS 142 is expected to reduce Blyth's full-year Earnings Per Share by $0.10.
Mandamus acquires another housing property in Malmo
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mandamus is purchasing a residential property from Tornet in Malmo. The block comprises 1,725 m2 altogether, including 1,422 m2 of housing space. Rental income for the property amounts to SEK 1,650 thousand a year. The building was erected in about 1940 and underwent extensive renovation and conversion in the late 1990s. The price is SEK 16m.
