Crew Gold Announces Seqi Olivine Project Funding Approved
LONDON, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Crew Gold Corporation ("Crew") (TSE:CRU) (OSE:CRU) (Frankfurt:KNC) (Other OTC:CRUGF) is pleased to report that Minelco AB ("Minelco"), a subsidiary of leading iron ore producer LKAB of Sweden, has informed Crew that the investment capital, as defined by the feasibility study for the Seqi Olivine project, has been approved by LKAB's board. Under the terms of the existing agreement between Crew and Minelco AB this investment will grant Minelco a 51% shareholding of the project.
Increased Supplies of Copper Concentrate to Boliden
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Boliden has signed an agreement with the Canadian mining company, EuroZinc Mining Corporation, (EuroZinc), for deliveries of copper concentrate from the Neves Corvo copper mine in Portugal which EuroZinc has recently acquired. The deliveries to Boliden will reach between 150,000 and 200,000 tonnes of copper concentrate per year, equivalent to approximately one fifth of Boliden's external copper concentrate feed.

JERSEY, Channel Islands and BAMAKO, Mali, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The workforce at the Morila gold mine in Mali has returned to work after a three-day work stoppage in response to the call for a three-day national strike by SECNAMI, the mining section of the National Union of Malian Workers (UNTM). The mine is owned by AngloGold (40%), Randgold Resources (40%) (LSE:RRS) (Nasdaq:GOLD) and the government of Mali (20%).
OMHEX Rejects Lawsuit on Further VAT Repayment in Finland
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- HEX Integrated Markets Ltd and Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd (APK), subsidiaries of OMHEX AB, have been sued by 22 banks and brokerage firms in Finland. The claim, amounting to about EUR 5 million plus interest, is related to value added tax that the banks and brokerage firms paid to Helsinki Exchanges and APK for trading and clearing services during the years 1995-2000.
