Western Media Enters Into a Letter Of Understanding With UCLA Center For Healthier Children, Families & Communities
ISLANDIA, N.Y., June 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Western Media Group Corporation (OTCBB:WMGC) today announced that it has entered into a letter of understanding with the UCLA Center for Healthier Children, Families & Communities. Under the letter of understanding, MedLinkVPN Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Media, will establish a secure Virtual Private Network for the center. The center will then evaluate the MedlinkVPN in order assess whether it may be effectively utilized for secure distribution of specific content through its existing websites to offsite locations, including other related social service organizations, which are potential subscribers for the MedLinkVPN.

State Regulators Approve SDG&E's Regional Reliability Plan
SAN DIEGO, June 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) today approved San Diego Gas & Electric's (SDG&E) comprehensive plan that will enable the utility to meet the growing energy needs of its customers. In addition to demand-response programs, and new renewable resources, the CPUC approved the first new large-scale power plants in the San Diego region in more than 25 years.

The race starts from the shores of Sandy Point State Park, which is about five miles northeast of Annapolis, MD. The course extends eastward between the two spans of the William Preston Lane, Jr., Memorial Bridge (U.S. Highway 50) and finishes at a small sandy beach on Kent Island immediately south of the Bridge's eastern shore causeway adjacent to Hemingway's Restaurant, a local landmark.
