ATA Reports September Scheduled Service Traffic
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- ATA Airlines, Inc., the principal subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (ATAHQ), today reported that September scheduled service traffic decreased 44.6 percent from 2004 to 477.4 million RPMs (revenue passenger miles). Capacity decreased 44.8 percent compared to 2004 to 672.9 million ASMs (available seat miles). ATA's September scheduled service passenger load factor increased 0.2 points to 70.9 percent. There were 393,345 passengers enplaned in September, a decrease of 42.8 percent.

As detailed in an 8-K filed on October 5, Rifkin will assume the role of Chairman and CEO upon completion of the acquisition. In the meantime, he will serve as Interim President and report to CFO William B. Horne, who, as of September 30, 2005, has replaced Milton "Todd" Ault as Chairman and CEO of the Company. Mr. Ault is the Chairman and CEO of Patient Safety Technologies, Inc., Digicorp's largest shareholder.
