Antisoma Starts Phase II Trial of AS1404 in Ovarian Cancer
LONDON, June 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cancer drug developer Antisoma (LSE:ASM) announces that it has started a phase II trial of its vascular disrupting agent AS1404 in recurrent ovarian cancer. This is the third and final trial in a series evaluating AS1404 in combination with chemotherapy drugs. Phase II studies in lung and prostate cancers are ongoing, with the first efficacy data expected from the lung study during the second half of this year.

Harsco Acquires European Provider of Conveyor Belt Services to Steel Mills
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Worldwide industrial services and products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today its acquisition of Evulca, a France-based specialist with more than 30 years' experience providing conveyor belt management and maintenance services to the steel industry and other industrial clients. Terms of the cash acquisition were not disclosed. The privately-held company recorded 2004 sales in excess of $5 million, led by its ongoing contract services to Arcelor's Sollac Fos steel works in southern France.
