Northrop Grumman Gulf Coast Facilities Have Re-Opened for Business; All Employees Should Report to Work
NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) reports that 12,500 employees from its Ship Systems sector workforce of nearly 19,800 have returned to work full time since its Gulf Coast facilities were impacted by Hurricane Katrina. An additional 3,020 employees have made contact with the company and are on various forms of approved leave. Another 3,562 employees have made initial contact with the company but are not working and 715 are not yet accounted for. Production work has resumed on the 11 ships under construction at the facilities in New Orleans, Gulfport and Pascagoula.

Delta Air Lines Reports September Traffic
ATLANTA, Oct. 5, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today reported traffic results for September 2005(1),(2). System traffic for September 2005 increased 8.0 percent from September 2004 on a capacity increase of 4.2 percent. Delta's system load factor was 73.1 percent in September 2005, up 2.6 points from the same period last year.
