ImageWare Wins Software Contract Award in Guam
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 24, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- ImageWare Systems, Inc. (AMEX:IW) today announced that it has been awarded a contract to provide its ID Card Maker(tm) and Face ID(r) software products to the Guam government. The digital imaging software systems will be used to create secure drivers license documents and manage an associated image/text record database. Installation of the software is scheduled to be completed within the next 60 days. Terms were not disclosed.

Marsh Announces Agreement to Sell Convenience Store Distributing Company
INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 21, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Marsh Supermarkets, Inc. (Nasdaq:MARSA) (Nasdaq:MARSB) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of Convenience Store Distributing Company (CSDC) to McLane Company, Inc., a Temple, Texas-based grocery distributor. The sale includes inventory, property, buildings and equipment and certain other assets plus the assumption by McLane of certain liabilities. Terms were not disclosed. The sale is subject to certain conditions and adjustment for changes in net assets up to the closing date. After the sale, McLane will provide distribution services to Marsh's Village Pantry Division and CSDC's current customers.

RYE BROOK, N.Y., Sept. 21, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hoenig Group Inc., (Nasdaq:HOEN) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized the management of the Company to repurchase up to an additional five hundred thousand (500,000) shares of the Company's common stock from time to time in open-market and privately negotiated transactions subject to the availability of shares for repurchase at prices that the Company considers to be attractive. This repurchase program is in addition to the November 1999 stock repurchase program, under which the Company is authorized to purchase 46,000 shares.

CTT Investee Files Under Chapter 7
FAIRFIELD, Conn., Sept. 21, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Competitive Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:CTT) reported that its investee, Micro-ASI, Inc. of Dallas, filed under Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code in August 2001. Micro-ASI planned to provide semiconductor packaging customers a one-stop shop for flip-chip technology, including design, prototype development, and volume manufacturing of modules and boards.
