Linux Gold Announces Completion of Private Placement For US$500,000
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 29, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Linux Gold Corp. (OTCBB:LNXGF) wishes to announce the completion of a private placement of US$500,000, for an aggregate of 2,777,777 units in the capital stock of the Company to one investor at a price of US$0.18 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant (the "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase an additional common share, exercisable for a period of two years from the date of closing, exercisable at a price of US$0.20. The 2,777,777 common shares and the common shares issued as part of the units upon conversion of the Warrants are subject to a 1 year hold period from the date of issuance of the units. A finder's fee of 208,333 shares of Linux Gold Corp. was paid to an individual.
