Modern Times Group MTG AB: TV3 Ratings Success in Scandinavia
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Modern Times Group MTG AB (Nasdaq:MTGNY), the international media group, today announced that last week saw further ratings success for the TV3 television channel in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. TV3 Sweden achieved its second highest share of viewing since August 2001 and an all time high number of viewers for the Sunday night movie. TV3 Sweden's average share of prime time viewing (between 6 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.) since the beginning of September amongst the target 15-44 year old age group is now higher than for the same period of 2001. This prime time segment accounts for approximately two-thirds of advertising spend.
Allgon to Supply Coverage Solution for Munich's International Airport
TABY, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Allgon, a global supplier of radio-based infrastructure solutions, has been appointed coverage solution supplier to the new Terminal 2 at Munich's international airport by T-Mobile. T-Mobile is the project leader, representing four German mobile operators. Allgon's coverage solution will be delivered by the end of the year.
Rune Nyberg Director of Human Resources at TeliaSonera AB
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Rune Nyberg has been appointed as the Director of Human Resources for the new TeliaSonera-Group (Nasdaq:TLSN). He will assume his duties during the spring, June 1, 2003 at the latest. Rune Nyberg comes from Sandvik AB, where he has served as Director of Human Resources since 1996.
Scandiaconsult Natura Wins Major Contract in Zambia
STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Scandiaconsult Natura has been contracted by Sida (the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) to support Zambia's efforts in combating poverty. This will be done through the so-called Agricultural Support Programme (ASP) which includes components such as introduction and development of agricultural methods, improvements in local infrastructure and training in business development for farmers, local organisations and authorities. Particular emphasis will be placed on reaching households affected by HIV/AIDS, and food insecure households. The contract sum is estimated at SEK 35m.
