Tornet's Subsidiaries Granted ISO 14001 Certification

CeNeS Announces Phase II Drug Deal With Addex Pharmaceuticals
CAMBRIDGE, U.K., Dec. 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- CeNeS Pharmaceuticals plc (LSE:CEN) (Other OTC:CPHAF) today announced that it had signed an agreement to partner CEE 03-310, its selective antagonist of dopamine D1 receptors, which CeNeS had been developing for the potential treatment of sleep disorders and substance abuse. The compound has been acquired by Addex Pharmaceuticals, a biopharmaceutical company committed to the discovery, development and marketing of novel therapeutic compounds for the treatment of addiction and other neuropsychiatric conditions. Addex will focus on the development of the compound in the treatment of drug abuse. Under the terms of the agreement, Addex will acquire CeNeS' rights relating to CEE 03-310 and in return, CeNeS will receive up to $4.5m in upfront and milestone payments. CeNeS will also receive royalties on any product sales.

Micronic Announces Laser Pattern Generator for New Generation Plasma Display Panels
TABY, Sweden, Dec. 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Micronic Laser Systems AB (Stockholm:MICR) (Other OTC:MICLF), a leading manufacturer of laser pattern generation equipment for the semiconductor and display industries, today introduced a new laser pattern generator designed to meet the new requirements for plasma display panels (PDP). The Micronic MP185+ is the first pattern generator to address the market for the new generation of PDPs, and is capable of producing photomasks up to 1400 by 1850 mm. The system will be used to manufacture chrome PDP photomasks in volume production and R&D.
