Mueller Co.'s foundry in Albertville is one of 36 sites in Alabama and one of only six foundries in the United States to achieve the Occupational Safe and Health Administration's prestigious Voluntary Protection Program "Star" status, which recognizes work locations for their commitment to workplace safety. Mueller Co. celebrated this achievement with a company picnic on October 19th at Civitan Park. Proudly displaying the VPP Star flag are:
