Ace Hardware Deploying 65 GenDrive Fuel Cells From Plug Power
LATHAM, N.Y., April 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plug Power Inc. (Nasdaq:PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable energy solutions, today announced it will deploy a fleet of 65 GenDrive⢠fuel cell units for customer, Ace Hardware Corporation. The power units will be used at Ace Hardware's newest Retail Support Center, located in Wilmer, Texas. Construction on the facility broke ground in mid-March for completion in early 2014. The lift trucks are manufactured by Crown Equipment Corporation.

Plug Power Announces Additional Site for Procter & Gamble
LATHAM, N.Y., Nov. 29, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plug Power Inc. (Nasdaq:PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable energy solutions, today announced that Procter & Gamble Co., (NYSE:PG) has selected its GenDriveĀ® fuel cell products to power its electric lift truck fleet in its manufacturing facility located in Mehoopany, PA. This additional facility now brings to four the number of sites converting to GenDrive fuel cells. Over 340 units will now be deployed throughout Procter & Gamble's manufacturing infrastructure. Additional P&G sites using green fuel cell technology include facilities in California, North Carolina and Louisiana.

Plug Power's $2.5 Million DOE Award Will Expedite Fuel Cell Commercialization Outside of Material Handling
LATHAM, N.Y., Nov. 20, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Plug Power Inc. (Nasdaq:PLUG), a leader in providing clean, reliable energy solutions, has been selected for a $2.5 million award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to modify electric tow tractor ground equipment to function with GenDrive hydrogen fuel cells in airport applications. Under a three-year initiative with the DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, 15 tow tractors will be deployed at FedEx Express airport hub locations in Memphis, Tennessee and Oakland, California. FedEx will deploy hydrogen fuel cell technology at these sites to study the productivity, efficiency and the environmental benefits of using hydrogen.
