Report from Annual General Meeting of Aspiro AB (publ)


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Aspiro AB (publ):

Board of directors

At yesterday's annual general meeting of shareholders of Aspiro AB, Tomas Althen, Lars H Bruzelius, Sven-Ake Bergkvist, Lars Jarnryd and Fadi Pharaon were reelected to the board of directors. Claes de Neergaard and Stig Herbern both declined to stand for reelection. Tomas Althen was appointed chairman of the board of directors at the board meeting following election.

Disposition of accumulated deficit

The annual general meeting adopted the board of directors' proposal that the accumulated deficit as recorded in the balance sheet be settled by a transfer from the share premium reserve.

CEO's statement

Aspiro's CEO and president, Lena Wittbjer, opened her speech at the annual general meeting by commenting on Aspiro's development during the past year. She later discussed how the company had focused its business activities towards mobile consumer applications. Ms. Wittbjer also talked briefly about the company's first-quarter results for 2002, which had been released earlier in the day.

Incoming CEO

Aspiro's recently appointed new CEO, Hakan Persson, presented himself briefly and gave his views on Aspiro and the market for mobile services.
