CTT Zonal Drying System to Become an Available Option on Boeing Next-Generation 737

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- As part of Boeing and CTT System's continuing efforts to offer the Zonal Drying (TM) System as optional BFE (Buyer Furnished Equipment) on the 737, CTT Systems is pleased to announce that an overall design installation has been agreed upon. Production offerability will be contingent on CTT Systems obtaining an FAA STC. Further developments will be announced in the future.

The above means that the Zonal Drying(TM) System will become available on an FAA STC basis for already delivered airplanes, as well as for optional equipment when ordering new airplanes.

The Zonal Drying(TM) System is today available for the Next-Generation737- 800 model based on a JAA STC.

"It is with great satisfaction we announce that the Zonal Drying(TM) system will become an available option for Boeing Next-Generation 737 airplanes. I trust that many airlines will welcome the opportunity to install the Zonal Drying(TM) system during the assembly of the airplane," commented CTT Systems AB President Mr. Torbjorn Johansson.

The Zonal Drying(TM) System combats condensation in the thermal and acoustic insulation of modern passenger aircraft. It reduces maintenance costs by extending the service life of the airplane insulation. By eliminating accumulated condensation, the system also cuts non-revenue weight which, in turn, leads to significant fuel savings. The Zonal Drying(TM) System helps reduce corrosion and the risk of electrical faults by maintaining a dry environment between the interior trim panels and the aircraft skin.

To date, CTT has the following additional customers for the Zonal Drying(TM) system:
