Five International Standards Achieved by Pyng Medical

Subsidiary, Pyng Medical Corp., under the direction of our Quality Assurance Manager, Dale Lambert, announces today that the company has successfully passed the accreditation and third party registration of the company's Quality Management System to no less than 5 internationally recognized Quality Management System Standards.

The operations of Pyng Medical Corp. now formally conform to ISO 9001:1994, ISO 13485: 1996, EN 46001:1996, Canadian Medical Device Regulations 1998 and Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC Annex II for CE marking. The company already has FDA and CHPB Approvals.

This is a significant milestone for Pyng Medical Corporation. The granting of the CE Marking for the F.A.S.T.1 System allows entry of the F.A.S.T.1 system and related products into the European Union. These Internationally recognized standards, the CE Marking and registered conformity to ISO standards for medical device design and manufacture, combined with our FDA approval in the United States, will provide Pyng Medical with clear access to every major growth market for the F.A.S.T. 1 System around the world. The company is now in a position to seek out distributors in the European Union to work with Pyng Medical Corp. in advancing the F.A.S.T.1 System for Adult Intraosseous Infusion.
