Crescent Communications Inc. Names CFO


HOUSTON, Texas, Dec. 17, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Crescent Communications Inc. (OTCBB:CCES), a leading value added network (VAN), has named Michael McDonald chief financial officer, announces Crescent Chief Executive Officer Manfred Sternberg.

As CFO, McDonald will manage operating and accounting processes to accommodate Crescent growth. His efforts will support the company's quest to build its BLUEGATE(TM) health care division.

Before joining Crescent, McDonald served 10 years as chief operating officer for Harris County Medical Society, Medserv Inc., the country's largest county medical society.

While with HCMS, he supervised a staff and served the physicians' group. Also McDonald gained experience as interim manager at Baylor College of Medicine and as Member of Pinnacle Worldwide with offices in the USA, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia as well as business manager for physicians and an imaging center in the Houston area.

Majoring in business administration and accounting, minoring in chemistry and economics, McDonald graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist College, Plainview, Texas.
