Leading Steelcase Dealerships Offer Advanced Technology


TORRANCE, Calif., Jan. 27, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hellmuth Obata & Kassabaum (HOK), and IDEC Corporation have awarded BKM Total Office of California the assignment of integrating Steelcase as the furniture manufacturer of choice in the design of IDEC's headquarters project, Lori Tierney, President of BKM, Los Angeles, and Bill Kuhnert, President of BKM, San Diego, announced today.

HOK, known for innovative and creative interior solutions, is responsible for the entire campus as the project architect of record and interior design for this most prestigious and state-of the-art headquarters facility in San Diego. Bill Valentine, President of HOK is directly involved in the architectural design of the buildings on the planned campus and Clay Pendergrast and Brett Schwery are the principals in charge of the interiors. Robert Wiley and the IDEC team along with HOK selected Steelcase for their comprehensive offering of leading edge technology, contemporary aesthetics and extensive range of furniture solutions.
