STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 14, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- ProAct (Other OTC:PRGRF) succeeded in generating positive EBITA and a positive cash flow during the fourth quarter. Service operations developed well although system sales fell on account of the weak market. An action plan to improve profitability has been initiated. ProAct remains in a strong financial position.
Summary of the fourth quarter
-- Revenue totalled SEK 260.2 million (273.9).
-- Operating profits before amortization of goodwill (EBITA) amounted to SEK 1.9(a) million (6.8(a)).
-- Restructuring costs of SEK -8.0 million (-7.5), amortization of goodwill in the amount of SEK -19.0 million, and write-downs on receivables of SEK -3.8 million have been treated as items that affect comparability in the total amount of -30.8 million.
-- Liquid funds totalled SEK 150.7 million.
