STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mr. Henrik Holm has been appointed new CEO and President for ProAct IT Group AB (publ) (Other OTC:PRGRF) (Stockholm:PACT), effective immediately. Current CEO Mr. Per-Arne Lundberg takes on the new position as Vice President Corporate Development focusing on corporate strategy and business planning.
Mr. Lars Gronberg has been elected Chairman of the Board and succeeds Mr. Holm.
The weak IT-market has not improved and the board has not been satisfied with the company's financial performance, as stated in earlier press releases. In this situation the board is pleased to report that Mr. Holm will take the lead as group CEO and President.
The new group management team, also including the CFO Mrs. Marita Flodstrom-Hellsten, will prioritize profitability as well as redefining company strategy.
Mr. Gronberg has been a member of the board in ProAct since April 2002 with other board assignments in public companies such as Song Networks and Precise Biometrics.
Mr. Gronberg has extensive experience within the IT- and telecom market in Scandinavia.
