Boss Media Sells Comprehensive Technical Solution to William Hill -- 'Super Back Office' and Casino in 6 Languages and 2 Currencies

VAXJO, Sweden, Feb. 24, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Boss Media (Other OTC:BMDIF) (Stockholm:BOSS) strengthens its leading position on Europe's most important market, the British gaming market with yet another important major customer, William Hill. William Hill is one of the best-known names in the U.K. betting industry. The company operates 1,500 betting outlets in the U.K., employs more than 9,000 staff, and in 2001 had a turnover of GBP 2.45 billion. William Hill Plc is a publicly listed company on the London Stock Exchange (Symbol WMH).

William Hill has a successful online casino business that has been in operation since January 2000, and it has now selected Boss Media to supply casino software in six languages and two currencies, in both downloadable and web-based instant-play versions. Boss Media is also supplying William Hill with a new "Super Back-Office" system -- a centralised management and reporting system that will not only support William Hill's Boss Media casinos, but also those supplied by third parties.

"The agreement with William Hill is further proof that quality and long-term strategic thinking pays off. In conjunction with this deal we are adding yet another product to our range -- a back office tool with open architecture. This enables us to offer present and new customers one single integrated system to operate several gaming platforms in parallel. This is one of the biggest contracts for Boss Media to date," said a very happy Peter Bertilsson, CEO of Boss Media.

"William Hill is pleased to be adding Boss Media to its list of suppliers," said Bill Haygarth, Managing Director, E-Commerce at William Hill. "We have been very impressed with the technical capability of Boss Media that will enable us to provide a high level of integration of our gaming offerings."

Boss Media's strategy over the past year has been to establish a strong position in the British market where the combination of player interest, Internet penetration and the favourable legal climate makes it the most interesting market in Europe. Boss Media has to date signed contracts with several of the leading operators such as Gala Group, Victor Chandler, Bet 365 Group and Sportingbet.com Plc -- positioning Boss Media as a leading software supplier on the British market.

The Boss Media Group is one of the world's leading suppliers of digitally distributed gaming entertainment. Potential licensees are offered a customized gaming system, an integrated payment system and the maintenance and administration services necessary for the operation of the licensed gaming system. Boss Media AB (publ) is a publicly traded company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange's O-list. For more information about the company, please visit http://www.bossmedia.com.
