XO Communications Selected by Sky Way Aircraft, Inc. to Provide Internet Connectivity to 37 locations across the U.S.

RESTON, Va., July 1, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- XO Communications, Inc. announced today that Sky Way Aircraft, Inc., a merger partner of SkyWay Communications Holding Corp. (OTCBB:SWYC), signed a three year, $6.5 million contract to provide Internet connectivity to 37 Sky Way locations across the country.

Sky Way Aircraft, a Clearwater, Florida based company that is developing a unique ground to air in-flight aircraft communication network that it anticipates will facilitate homeland security and in-flight entertainment. The company will be collocated with XO in the 37 cities, all with DS3 Internet connectivity that will be used for Sky Way Aircraft's national wireless network consisting of over 100 sites across the U.S. It is planned that this network will provide applications that will be used to enhance the communication links between the airplane and ground locations in responding to anti-terrorism issues within the homeland security program. Sky Way Aircraft has also taken surveillance and monitoring one step further in providing the network that will transfer this information to the planned Sky Way Aircraft National Ground Monitoring Network where government agencies will have the ability to observe and review each emergency in order to provide guidance and support. This National Ground Monitoring Network will be serviced with an XO provided OC3 fiberoptic connection.

"Outstanding service by our XO sales representatives, Michael McDonald and Brendan Mooney, has proved to us that the quality of people and service at XO Communications were the best in the business," said Jim Kent, CEO of Sky Way Aircraft.

"After working with the XO Tampa sales office, I see we made the right choice," said Brent Kovar, President of Sky Way Aircraft. "Sky Way Aircraft chose XO over other service providers because of their knowledge of the business, aggressive pricing and outstanding service."
