TEMECULA, Calif., March 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nicholas Investment Company, Inc. (Pink Sheets:NIVM) today announced that its subsidiary, SINO UJE, Ltd., has named a new Managing Director, elevating Li Jun from General Manager to oversee the growth and expansion of SINO's operations in China.
Li Jun has extensive experience in China, having worked for state-owned enterprises, private companies and joint ventures over most of the last 20 years. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of the prestigious Jiaotong University in Shanghai, Mr. Li earned a Master's Degree in Physics. His business experience includes four years as Vice President of Nanchang Metals and Machinery Import and Export Corporation and Vice President of a 1,500 employee Joint Venture between a Hong Kong company and a state-owned Chinese company, Mintai International Company, Ltd. Mr. Li joined SINO UJE as General Manager in 2001.
