Airbee Wireless Inc. -- MicroTech Trader Looking to Wireless for Next Batch of Winners

DALLAS, March 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- When MicroTech Trader first identified Airbee Wireless (Pink Sheets:ABEW) as a company that aggressive investors may want to continue considering, the company's stock was trading at $0.30 a share. ABEW shares closed yesterday at $0.49, up more than 6 percent from the previous close of $0.46 on good volume for the stock, which is now up more than 60 percent in less than two weeks.

This week, Airbee announced that it has retained Equitilink, LLC, a leading micro-cap and small-cap investor relations firm, to expand its shareholder awareness and investor relations efforts. According to a company press release, Equitilink plans to implement a number of strategies in the coming months to increase visibility for ABEW.

While wireless industry naysayers look for consolidation among carriers to invest in this space again, many investors are reaping huge gains from their wireless investments. MicroTech Trader has identified the wireless sector as poised for growth, and is closely monitoring a number of wireless "stocks to watch" this week. These include Nextel Partners (Nasdaq:NXTP), which was up nearly 2 percent yesterday; U.S. Cellular (AMEX:USM), which is up nearly five percent in five trading days but still is well below its February high; Vodafone (NYSE:VOD), also up five percent in five days of trading; and AT&T Wireless (NYSE:AWE) which, though fairly level in recent weeks, is up nearly 65 percent in the past three months.

Small cap companies such as Mobil Pro (OTCBB:MOBL) and P-Com (OTCBB:PCOM), as well as other large caps and market indicators such as Motorola (NYSE:MOT), Intel Corp. (NYSE:INTC), Atmel (Nasdaq:ATML), Ericsson (Nasdaq:ERICY), and the Sprint FON Group (NYSE:FON) have not performed as well lately, but still remain considerations for aggressive investors.

Airbee Wireless is a leading developer of intelligent software for short-range wireless communications. The company's software enables consumer and business devices to connect to each other over short distances without using wires. Its overall platform facilitates both machine-to-machine and people-to-machine voice and data connections, typically ranging up to 900 feet for voice and 240 feet for data. MicroTech Trader continues to rate ABEW a strong buy in the wireless space.
