Maxus Announces `On Track' Growth During Q1, 2004; Increases Procurement Team In San Jose Facility

MORGAN HILL, Calif., April 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Maxus Technology Corporation, (OTCBB:MXUS) a leading provider of eWaste and Asset Recovery solutions, today announced that sales of its Global Asset Management Solution including eWaste and Asset Recovery Solutions in Q1 were up 102% over Q1 of last year. Total revenues for the three-month period ended February 29, 2004 were $1,446,698 or $731,466 over the same period in 2003. Additionally, the company added to its sales force to meet increased demand for its services in the San Jose facility.

During the quarter, Maxus Technology saw growth in eWaste Solutions as well as expansion of existing accounts. The strong showing comes on the heels of the company's March announcement of a major new technology breakthrough that featured portability in dealing with eWaste, wherever it existed.

"Continued pressure on Municipal Landfill initiatives and EWaste State Legislation is making both government and businesses more aware than ever of eWaste recycling and Asset Recovery Programs in their respective areas," said David Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Maxus Technology Corporation. "Maxus's ability to manage the full range of critical eWaste Recycling and Asset Recovery solutions has made many Fortune 1000 companies begin reviewing their current eWaste and Asset Recovery programs."
