Communication Synergy Technologies Inc. Extends Cost Effectiveness and Versatility of its CDV1000 Document Vault

Proprietary Auto-Indexing Engine Adds Efficiency and Cost Effectiveness to Document Filing Processes

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communication Synergy Technologies Inc., (ComSynTech) (Pink Sheets:CSYT) a developer of document management solutions, has expanded the document storage and archiving capabilities of its CDV1000 Document Vault with the development of a proprietary auto-indexing engine that automatically categorizes documents for archiving and preservation.

The recently developed technology provides a new level of document processing service that significantly expands the efficiency and convenience of ComSynTech's Document Vault CDV1000 document archiving solution.

According to Gene Wolfe, ComSynTech's Chief Technical Officer, "The auto-indexing feature adds significant advantage for Document Vault users as it dramatically decreases the time required to catalog documents into preservation and archiving formats."

Typically, the Document Vault employs a methodology that captures, indexes and stages documents for preservation or archiving. The new capability of the auto-indexing stage allows the Document Vault to learn distinctive attributes as it scans input documents enabling it to intuitively categorize them according to unique characteristics.

Wolfe goes on to state, "The solution parses inbound content and matches unique feature sets of each document and then sorts them according to the predefined indexing fields. The result is a document preservation and archiving solution that automatically routes each document. An example would be business plans routed to specific plan folders, invoices routed to appropriate invoice or billing folders etc."

The unique aspect of the new auto-indexing feature lies in the NLP (Natural Learning Processing) algorithms used in its data processing engine. As long as a user knows the categories into which each document or groups of documents must be stored, the Document Vault can be trained and set up to automatically route the documents to the appropriate folders.

Michael Perrotta, Chief Operating Officer likens the auto-indexing to an automated coin sorting system. "The Document Vault looks at each document and, based on learned characteristics, funnels each document to its appropriate slot. It addresses a need for convenience and simplicity and it is a feature that will significantly impact the overall cost effectiveness of preservation and archiving programs."
