Vianeta has pioneered the use of XML technology to create a unified Web-based e-HIM (electronic health information management) platform called Vianeta Harmony. Hundreds of hospitals and clinics throughout North America use Vianeta Harmony -- the only native XML health IT solution on the market -- to reduce cost, improve revenue cycles, maximize efficiency, prevent errors, improve quality, ensure patient privacy and build a solid foundation for a true electronic medical record.

In his new role, Aceves -- who was promoted from executive vice president of field operations -- will continue to oversee all revenue-generating activities, as well as now assume responsibility for the company's day-to-day operations. He will also have the opportunity to translate his extensive field operations and professional services experience into further enhancing the ability of Vianeta products and services to effectively meet the needs of the HIM, IT and clinical personnel he has met around the world.

Prior to joining Vianeta, Aceves was vice president, worldwide operations, and CIO at Informatica (Nasdaq:INFA), a leading provider of business intelligence solutions. At Informatica, he was responsible for providing customers with world-class technical support, training and corporate infrastructure and information systems consulting. Prior to Informatica, he was vice president, finance and operations, at Addison-Wesley Publishing. Aceves was responsible for finance, operations and manufacturing and participated in several corporate acquisitions at Addison-Wesley, now a division of the international media company, Pearson (NYSE:PSO), whose primary operations include the Financial Times Group and the Penguin Group. He also served as COO of LEVIENT Corporation. At LEVIENT -- a provider of enterprise wireless access software acquired by FusionOne -- he was responsible for all operational activity including sales, marketing, professional services, information technology and administration.

A member of HIMSS and AHIMA, Aceves holds a bachelor's degree in finance from San Jose State University and a master's degree in marketing from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
