The Project Group Contracted to Implement Sarbanes-Oxley Solution for Major Clothing Retailer

HOUSTON, Oct. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Project Group, Inc. (OTCBB:PJTG) announced today that it has received a contract for implementing its Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) solution for a major clothing retailer headquartered in Houston with over 500 stores nationwide. This solution uses Microsoft's (Nasdaq:MSFT) SOX accelerator that is based on Microsoft's SharePoint and InfoPath technologies combined with PJTG's proprietary processes. This engagement is a major win for the executives that joined PJTG when Dolphin Knowledge was acquired in June of 2004.

Mr. Mark Beatty, Vice President of PJTG, said, "We are excited to have the opportunity to showcase our SOX capabilities with a public company of this size. This is our second significant SOX project in the last four months. This success indicates that our focus in this area will generate significant revenue and further demonstrates the value of leveraging the Microsoft platform. Section 404 of SOX is challenging for many companies and we look forward to expanding this line of business with our solution."

Mr. Jim Bettencourt of Microsoft said, "The Project Group has worked with Microsoft over the past year implementing solutions based on the Microsoft SOX accelerator. The Project Group's deep skill in Microsoft's SharePoint Technologies provides them with a strong foundation for implementing SOX solutions."
