Mission Oaks Third Branch to Open by Summer


ONTARIO, Calif., Feb. 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mission Oaks National Bank (OTCBB:MKNB) announced it has finalized the location of a new full-service branch near Ontario Mills mall in the heart of Ontario's business district.

The Temecula-based community bank signed a lease for a 5,500-square-foot office at 800 N. Ferrari Lane in the Ferrari Corporate Center that is expected to open by early summer.

Located near the 10 Freeway and North Milliken Avenue, this will be Mission Oaks' third branch and the first outside the Temecula Valley. The bank's two other branches are located in Temecula.

"We are real pleased with the branch location and the team of professionals we have assembled to staff the new branch, which we are calling the Ontario Business Center," said Gary Votapka, Mission Oaks president and chief executive. The Ontario Business Center will be headed by Michael Pate, a veteran banker with strong community ties.

Pate is a seasoned commercial lender and manager with years of experience helping businesses in the Interstate 10 and 15 freeway corridors to grow and prosper. The Rialto resident also is active in community and civic affairs.

Joining Pate are Frank Hough, vice president of small business lending; Jim Moffatt, vice president and construction loan officer and Kimberly Ward, assistant vice president and financial services officer. Donna Mallon, who heads Mission Oaks central operations, will serve as customer services manager in the new branch. Ultimately, the branch will be staffed by 10 employees.
