Trintech Announces Appointment of David Colf as VP and General Counsel

Former Strategic Business Manager from Hewlett Packard Brings a Wealth of Experience to Payment Industry Leader


DALLAS and DUBLIN, Ireland, March 16, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Trintech Group Plc (Nasdaq:TTPA) (Prime Standard: TTP), a leading provider of transaction reconciliation and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced the appointment of David Colf as VP & General Counsel for Trintech Group Plc.

David previously worked with Hewlett Packard, where he held the post of Strategic Business Manager, bringing HP's digital TV business to market. Prior to that, David was Managing Legal Counsel with HP Europe based out of Grenoble, France, where he supported HP's global telecommunications and PC businesses. David has also worked in various international positions with EMASS/GRAU, Manning Fulton & Skinner PC, and IBM. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia, and of the State University of New York. David will report to Trintech President & CFO Paul Byrne and will be based in Trintech's Dublin operation.
