Malers Automation and Control Launches Breakthrough Product

In Joint Venture with Russian Partners

HADERA, Israel, March 29, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Malers Automation and Control Ltd. ("Malers") (Pink Sheets:GXXL) today announced the release of a jointly developed product with its Russian partners, Automatic Service. The new product combines key functions in most production processes, giving the Company an important competitive advantage in the Automated Services Industry.

Malers developed this new Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)-Sequence Event Recorder (SER), based on years of experience in the process industry. "PLC's and SER's are standard products that are found in large quantities in every system we build and maintain," comments Ronen Luzon, CEO of Malers. "Combining their functions into a single unit was a natural conclusion for us and this opens up a very exciting market for the Company. Because it sells for a price that is lower than the combined price of the two separate units, we see this new PLC-SER as the product of choice for both new systems and overhauls."

PLC's are a class of industrially hardened devices that provides hardware interface for input sensors and output actuators. PLC's can be programmed using relay ladder logic to control the outputs based on input conditions and/or algorithms contained in the memory of the PLC. A data logger is an electronic memory device which accepts information from instruments and records it for future use. PLC's can sell for as much as $5,000 a unit, while SER's range in price from $4,000-$10,000 per unit.

The new combined PLC-SER developed by Malers can analyze and operate complex systems. Maler's new PLC-SER offers greater value than existing products, in terms of price, multi-functionality and product flexibility. The Company is targeting its existing customer base for immediate sales of the product.
