Financial Services Industry Leaders Recognized for Commitment to Entrepreneurship Education

To Be Honored at NFTE Awards Dinner


NEW YORK, April 11, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) today announced that three New York City-based financial services industry leaders will be honored by NFTE for their commitment to increasing education and economic opportunities for low-income youth.

The honorees include Dwight Anderson, principal of Ospraie Management, L.P., and Kevin P. Murphy, Managing Partner and Director of Business Development and Christopher A. Pucillo, Partner and Head of Hedge Fund Strategies, at Stanfield Capital Partners.

The three business leaders will be recognized at NFTE's 12th annual awards dinner on April 26th at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

Founded in 1987 by Steve Mariotti, former New York City public school teacher, NFTE originally began as a dropout prevention and academic performance improvement program for students who were at risk of failing or quitting school. Today, NFTE has grown into a comprehensive business education program in 45 states and 13 countries with more than 100,000 graduates.

In announcing the awards, NFTE founder, Mr. Mariotti noted, "This is one of the top awards a business person can win. Our winners are not only top in the business field but also world class in their social commitment. Dwight, Kevin and Christopher are representative of the best that Wall Street has to offer, and it is our pleasure to recognize their contributions to the success of NFTE."

Mr. Anderson is the principal of Ospraie, which serves as investment advisor to the Ospraie Funds. Established in February 2000, the Ospraie Funds actively invest on a global basis in various commodity markets and other basic industry investments. In addition to overseeing the Ospraie Funds, Mr. Anderson was the head of the Basic Industries Group at Tudor Investment Corporation.

Mr. Murphy joined Stanfield in 1999 and is responsible for marketing and relationship Management. Prior to joining Stanfield, Mr. Murphy was a partner with Gleacher Natwest, and the Director of Marketing. He also served in executive positions at Schroeders and with Lazard Freres.

Mr. Pucillo joined Stanfield in 2000 and, after assuming portfolio management responsibilities for Stanfield's Market Value Strategies, was appointed to Head of Hedge Fund Strategies in 2004. Prior to joining Stanfield, Mr. Pucillo was with Morgan Stanley, where he was instrumental in launching their leveraged loan effort and acted as Head of High Yield Loan Trading. Mr. Pucillo was one of the four founding members of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association and served as an Executive Committee Member.

Past recipients of the NFTE award have included well-known business leaders such as Henry Kravis, co-founder of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR); Julian Robertson, founder of Tiger Management Corp.; Securities and Exchange Commission chairman William Donaldson; and Charles and David Koch of Koch Industries.
