Hyper Industries is a leading materials engineering services company as well as a developer of high strength hybrid composite and metallic materials, and is largely responsible for the introduction to the golf industry of the widely used titanium alloys, hyper steel alloy, bi-matrix and composite graphite systems.
The new technology, the first 3 dimensional scandium-composite shaft construction technology, promises to make ultra light, ultra strong and the most dimensionally stable shafts among the graphite composite golf shafts available on the market today. Current graphite shaft technology uses a 2 dimensional fiber and matrix system which uses only a wound or woven graphite fiber with a resin matrix.
