Semcon Chosen as Preferred Supplier for Leading Telecom Supplier


GOTEBORG, Sweden, May 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Semcon has signed a framework agreement with Ericsson, where Semcon has been chosen as Ericsson's preferred supplier for design and development plus technical information.

"The framework agreement is an important part of our strategy to grow within telecom and provides us with greater partnership potential with Ericsson," says Semcon's CEO, Hans Johansson. "We are already one of Ericsson's suppliers, and we see this framework agreement as underlining our partnership."

Telecom is one of the development-intensive industries that Semcon has prioritised and has extensive experience with. Semcon is currently active in many areas of telecom and is highly skilled in embedded design, mobile data communication, multimedia, testing and verification, CPI (Customer Product Information), project management and PROPS.
