HADERA, Israel, May 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Malers Automation and Control Ltd. ("Malers") (Pink Sheets:MSNC) today announced that it is on the verge of signing another contract for the installation of a customized automation and control system at a new factory of a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, whose name cannot be disclosed.
The Company expects to finalize the agreement in the coming days. The terms of the pending contract state that the installation of Malers' system in this factory that is under construction will be done in two stages.
This pending contract comes only one week after Malers signed a contract for another custom installation with the same client at a different facility. "We have been working on this contract for many months and it appears that we have won out over several large competitors," comments Ronen Luzon, CEO of Malers.
"The demands for manufacturing pharmaceuticals are becoming more and more stringent," Luzon continues, "leaving virtually no room for error. Our system offers the highest level of manufacturing controls available, and we know that this is a critical element in the production process."
Malers expects that the contract will be signed next week. The Company was recently certified by the client, and it is expected that other facilities that they operate will be in need of automation and control systems in the future.
