Dine Out & Help Out! There's Something Special With Daily Grill

LOS ANGELES, June 2, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Bob Spivak, CEO of Grill Concepts (Nasdaq:GRILE) announced the expansion of its support of Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) throughout its DAILY GRILL chain of upscale casual dining restaurants. DAILY GRILL recently opened its newest location at 612 S. Flower in Downtown Los Angeles and now has 25 locations, primarily in Southern California. During a rehearsal dinner, supporting SOSC, the DINE OUT & HELP OUT program was announced.

Through the generosity of the William E. Simon Foundation, 10,000 Friends and Family Cards were created to support the DINE OUT & HELP OUT program. Upon presentation of the cards at any DAILY GRILL location (LAX excepted) and the GRILL on the Alley in Beverly Hills, a percentage of the sales, will be contributed to SOSC.

The cards can actually be used as a gift card, so Mike Delzotti, VP Marketing & Development, SOSC, said, "it's a great graduation or birthday gift." The cardholder can present it at any DAILY GRILL location (LAX excepted) and the value of the gift will then be loaded onto the card using any major credit card. The cards are good for as long as there is a balance and can be reloaded at any time.

"We have married two of the strongest brands in Southern California," Spivak said. "DAILY GRILL and Special Olympics are a natural." Delzotti agrees: "We have to do a lot of entertaining to better educate the community as to what Special Olympics is and how it can improve the lives of those with intellectual disabilities from the age of 8 to 80. With DAILY GRILL throughout Southern California, we have a place to call home."

The cards have been distributed through a number of resources, both individual and corporate, but a small number of the 10,000 remain for distribution. If you would like to obtain one, send a stamped, self addressed business sized envelop to: McCarthy Marketing Management, 1507 Slauson Lane, Suite 200, Redondo Beach, CA 90278 and you will receive one by return mail.
