EMWD purchases corporate license for document and records management

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 25, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Spescom Software Inc. (OTCBB:SPCO), a leading developer of enterprise content, configuration and change management software solutions for mission-critical industrial applications, today announced that Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) has purchased a corporate license for eB, its enterprise information management suite.

EMWD is the 5th largest water district in California and provides water and waste water services to over 570,000 people in southern California. EMWD has had great success in using eB for some time to manage its engineering drawings, aerial photographs, correspondence and board meeting minutes.

EMWD will also make full use of eB's integration with AutoCAD to manage its engineering drawings and with Microsoft Exchange Server to capture and store all emails that are determined to be important to the organization.

"We are very pleased to see that EMWD has decided to expand its usage of eB across their enterprise," commented Keith Stentiford, CEO of Spescom. "Their decision shows the confidence they have in eB based on their past experience with the product.
