'Queer Eye for the Straight Girl's' Honey Labrador and QTN Veteran Scott Withers to Host Country's First Gay Morning Program Debuting Sept. 6th

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Sept. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Serving up a delicious dose of daily conversation with a healthy side of sass, Q Television Network (Pink Sheets:QBID) has announced the hosts of "Brunch," its live, interactive and very chic morning talk show debuting September 6. The network has revealed that "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl's" star, Honey Labrador, and QTN fan-favorite, Scott Withers, will dish the dirt on celebrities, news, sports, fashion and weather on this GLBT version of "The View" meets "Regis and Kelly."

"Brunch" is QTN's new and exciting 2-hour interactive show that will invite the GLBT community to ease into the "gay day" by sharing some cappuccino and talk about the most interesting and exciting queers from artists, newsmakers, entertainers, chefs, etc.

Ms. Labrador -- the first lesbian star in the "Queer Eye" phenomenon -- is also tapped to star in QTN's new weekly show "Xcess/Access," which will provide the gay and lesbian community an all-access pass to fashion and fashionistas alike. Ms. Labrador is a former model, fashion editor, actress and award-winning producer. Her credits include "Offside," "The Bug in My Ear," and the soon to be released feature film, "April's Shower," which was awarded multiple honors in the film festival circuit.

Working for CNN Headline News as a writer and producer, he was selected to serve as a national youth correspondent for CNN newsroom, and worked as a corporate spokesperson for a Fortune 500 company. He is a graduate of Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where he earned a dual bachelors degree in journalism and international relations.

"I am ecstatic to be part of this ground-breaking show," said Honey Labrador. "It's an honor to be part of a revolutionary talk show for and by the GLBT community."

Frank Olsen, President, CEO and Founder of Q Television Network, added, "We are very pleased that Honey and Scott will again be lending their talents to such a landmark program. Their proven talents continue to help pioneer Q Television Network."
