Calypso Wireless Appoints Michael Pizzi as Executive Vice-President and General Counsel to Prosecute Any Attempt to Infringe on Calypso Patented Technology

(Pink Sheets:CLYW), an emerging leader in advanced wireless telecommunications technology, announced today that it has retained the services of Mr. Michael Pizzi to serve as Calypso's Executive Vice-President and General Counsel.

I will make sure that big or small companies that tried to duplicate or copy our technology will pay a license to Calypso," said Michael Pizzi, Executive Vice-President and General Counsel of Calypso Wireless.

Calypso Wireless' ASNAP(tm) patented technology (U.S. Patent number 6,680,923) enables mobile users to seamlessly switch back and forth between cellular networks such as GSM or CDMA and Wi-Fi wireless local area networks (WLAN) utilizing the 802.11 standard. Mobile users using Calypso's ASNAP(tm) cellular phones will be able to access any Wi-Fi zones installed and access the Internet at broadband speeds of up to 11,000 Kbps per second (11Mbps) enabling broadband connectivity on Calypso's C1250i dual band Wi-Fi-GSM-GPRS VoIP cellular phone.

Mr. Pizzi worked for over ten years with the Federal Government. He worked for the United States Courts in a variety of jobs and later worked full time for several years in the Justice Department. Mr. Pizzi then worked with Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, where the represented American Airlines, Lockheed Martin, Nestle Corporation and a number of other large corporations in their business affairs. He later joined the law firm of Bierman, Shohat, where he is now a named partner. Mr. Pizzi was named in the Best Lawyers in America consumer guide and also in Best Lawyers in South Florida.
