Sports-Stuff Provides Company Update and Outlook for 2006

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 9, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sports-Stuff.com Inc. (Pink Sheets:SSUF), a publisher and distributor of SMS alerts, mobile web sites, ringtones and mobile video games for the sports and entertainment industry, announced that the company achieved many important milestones in the last quarter of 2005 and is now poised for dramatic revenue growth in 2006.

These developments included recommencing active trading on the Pink Sheets, signing the rights for several high profile athletes and poker players, completing its 15c211, obtaining DTC eligibility and obtaining a quote on PinkSheets.com.

Sports-Stuff generates revenue by charging users to download ringtones, sports scores and breaking news alerts and by building and maintaining revenue generating mobile websites for end users. Billing is either through carriers (phone companies), or directly through a web portal.

In the first quarter of 2006, Sports-Stuff will complete production of the custom ringtones for the athletes and poker players it signed and recorded in late 2005. The athlete/player voices will be backed by music and sound effects to create finished ringtones available for purchase by mobile phone users.

Early 2006 will also see Sports-Stuff increasing the number of SMS messages it sends directly to mobile phones, and the company will expand its offering of real-time scoring updates and breaking sports news. The Rotowire.com announcement in October is an example of an exciting professional sports alert service poised for rapid growth. Sports-Stuff built the service for Rotowire.com and is managing and maintaining the wireless service in exchange for a percentage of revenues derived at http://www.rotowire.com/wireless.

Over the next two months, Sports-Stuff plans to launch mobile web sites for the same athlete and entertainer clients with whom it is producing ringtones. A mobile web site is like a regular desktop website but customized for the screen size on a mobile phone. Fans can view stats, read the latest news, post messages, and interact directly with the athletes and entertainers.

"2006 will be a banner year for mobile web services," states SSUF President Kevin Day. "Recent announcements such as the Google - Motorola deal confirm that mobile devices will most often be where consumers access the Internet and receive information, and our research has confirmed that the information SSUF produces will be the content they will be seeking. According to 2005 M:Metrics research, 44% of all mobile browsers sought sports scores and sports news."

SSUF's main financial objective is to become profitable by the end of Q2 2006. As well, the company is currently completing the requirements to become a fully reporting OTC Bulletin Board listed company. The company anticipates a move to the OTCBB during the first or second quarter of 2006.

"Working to achieve these goals will help drive revenue growth and profitability for the Company and create shareholder value for investors as we move forward into an exciting new year," states Chris Wilson, SSUF's CFO.
