AdZone Research's OPPS System Goes International as Ontario Provincial Police Becomes First Canadian Force to Begin Using Its Online Predator Profiling System

ONTARIO, Canada, March 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- AdZone Research, Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR) today reported that deployment of its Online Predator Profiling System (OPPS) is now international, with the system in operation with the Ontario Provincial Police. A team of 14 officers is assigned full time to the Ontario Provincial Police Child Pornography Section. Formed in 1975 at the request of the Attorney General of Ontario, the work of the Section was significantly expanded in 2003 when it also became responsible for the enforcement of Internet child luring legislation, and considers these investigations as a priority.

"The embracing of our OPPS system by the Ontario Provincial Police Child Pornography Section is especially gratifying because it is our first international market penetration," said Dan Wasserman, AdZone's Executive Vice President and Managing Director in charge of the OPPS program. "It is our understanding that the Ontario Provincial Police will share its experiences with OPPS with the many other police jurisdictions in the country's 10 provinces and three territories, with the hope they all will make OPPS a standard police tool throughout Canada.

"Recent high profile events underscore the reality that the power of the worldwide Internet and computer technology, combined with the innocence and naivete of children, can lead to tragic consequences," Wasserman noted. "Parental controls can protect children from accessing overtly obscene web sites and pornographic content, but they can't protect children from predators lurking in Internet chat rooms or in online forums."
