LAS VEGAS, May 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dekolink Wireless, Inc. today announced two new in-building repeaters for 800 MHz SMR and public safety networks. Both repeaters address the critical need for SMR and public safety radio systems to have robust and highly-reliable coverage solutions, and at the same time, are designed to resolve the 800MHz re-banding process.

The Dekolink 800 MHz in-building portfolio offers industry-leading performance characteristics including the patented and intelligent self-optimizing Smart ALC algorithm which ensures easy and error-free installations while maintaining a network friendly architecture.
The rebandable Deko2408S 800 MHz Mini-Repeater is field or remote tunable and capable of meeting each phase of the 800 MHz rebanding process. It provides +24 dBm composite RF output power with 80 dB gain and coverage from 50,000-100,000 square feet.
The Deko1489S 800 MHz Micro-Repeater for SOHO applications is an extremely cost-effective simple spot coverage solution that provides +17 dBm composite downlink EIRP, with a fully integrated 3dBi antenna covering up to 25,000 square feet. The Deko1489S comes in a small, lightweight form factor.
