Classmates.com Discovers 74 Percent of Members Polled Plan to Attend Their Next High School Reunion

Reunion Thoughts Include Former Friends and Loves, Diets, Tans, New Clothes and Honesty Instead of Lies

RENTON, Wash., June 2, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- With reunion season fast approaching, Classmates.com (www.classmates.com), a leader in online social networking with approximately 40 million members, recently polled its community of friends and acquaintances from school, college, work and the military. Results revealed that buying a new outfit, flipping through old yearbooks and rehashing old times with friends are on the minds of 81% of those who said they plan on attending their next high school reunion, and fifty percent look forward to seeing best friends or former loves or crushes at their reunion.

Classmates.com 2006 Reunion Poll key findings among attendees also include:

-- 75% want to reconnect with an old friend
-- 41% will attend to see the success/struggles of their friends
-- 32% will flip through old yearbooks before attending the reunion
-- 36% will get a tan or buy a new outfit in preparation for the
    reunion

    reunion

When asked if they would want to go back and do high school over again 65% said they wouldn't. However, 72% said they would do things differently including being more social, more active and less shy.
