Jati Technologies Inc. Announces New Management and Expanded Capabilities


MONTREAL, Sept. 21, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jati Technologies Incorporated (Pink Sheets:JTKG) announced today the appointment of new management in light of expanded capabilities in the global telecommunications industry.

Jati Technologies, a publicly traded company, recently forged new partnerships in its aggressive bid to expand in the growing telecommunications industry, resulting in the acquisition of two young companies and the hiring of an eminently qualified slate of managers for the newly named Jati Technologies.

The technical platform is under the able direction of Nikhil Varma, Chief Technical Officer who brings almost a decade of software development and innovation to the Jati team. A partner at FITB Technologies since March 2005, Mr. Varma is responsible for software development, project management and R&D product design. His particular expertise will be a valuable asset as Jati Technologies rolls out worldwide capability. He brings to Jati hands-on software development and management experience in Australia, India and Canada. With numerous publications and an international award to his name, this young entrepreneur brings a wealth of experience in research in the areas of real time systems, embedded applications and functionalities of software products that allow him to oversee a team of software experts. Mr. Varma holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal.

The database management is in the capable hands of Patrick Hamou, Director of Data Integrity. Mr. Hamou brings many years of experience managing extensive customer database information for international firms that include prestigious names such as Alcan, Brinks, Danone, Dell, Teleglobe, Nomura Securities, Noranda, Total and Accenture as well as some major U.S., Canadian, municipal, governmental bodies and agencies through his company, Renaps Technology Canada Inc. (www.renaps.com). Mr. Hamou has an unsurpassed track record in optimizing return on technology infrastructure through proprietary tools and processes developed for his demanding clients. He will be responsible for the database integrity of all the Jati Technologies companies.

Jati Technologies' plans for global profitability are under the direction of a powerful management team. Business Development Director Ari Lehtonen comes to Jati Technologies with a hefty background in wireless telecommunications marketing built on more than twenty years' experience in Finland and the U.S. With an M.Sc. from Helsinki University of Technology and an MBA from University of Helsinki, he quickly moved to top management levels in publicly traded companies and most recently operates out of Michigan consulting on corporate strategy and business development mandates. His diverse background includes managerial and operational concerns, with an emphasis on IT solutions development, identifying and developing new accounts and markets.

Marketing and Communications Director Susan Rose comes to Jati Technologies with advertising, market research and communications experience. With a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Communications and consulting experience for a wide range of major clients, her expertise in all areas of development and execution of the marketing mix will be an asset to the Jati Technologies team. Susan Rose has consulted for the telecommunications industry for over fifteen years.

Jati Technologies' legal department is headed by Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs Michael Ghazal. His expertise is in the area of civil and commercial litigation. He has a Common Law degree from Queen's University, a bachelor of Civil Law from University of Sherbrooke, and is a graduate of the Quebec Bar School. Mr. Ghazal comes to Jati Technologies from Oikinine & Associates.
