Patriot Motor Corporation Marine Division Designer, Art Carlson, Featured in ''Boating Magazine''

Newly Launched Patriot Marine Industries Line Will Offer Cruising, Fishing and Performance Watercraft

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., Oct. 2, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Patriot Motor Corporation (Pink Sheets:PMCY), a national leader in the design and manufacturing of recreational All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), Steed (R) by Patriot (TM) brand of V-Twin Musclebike (R) Motorcycles and Patriot Marine Industries watercraft, today announced that the October 2006 issue of "Boating Magazine" includes a feature on the Company's premier powerboat designer, Art Carlson. The issue is currently available on newsstands.

For over half a century, Carlson has designed, styled and built some of the most popular and famous boats in history. A renowned pioneer, continually poised on the cutting-edge, Carlson initially combined a newly emerging fiberglass technology in the early 1950's with daring new hull concepts that ultimately launched both the revolutionary "Tunnel Hull" design and the famed lines of Carlson High-Performance and Glastron/Carlson sport boats.

The following is an excerpt from the "Boating Magazine" article: (Commenting on his earlier ground-breaking, history-making hull designs, he notes) "If you give people something exciting, you won't have trouble selling it," is Carlson's mantra.

Carlson isn't ready to slow down or hand over the reins yet. He's been named director of design for the newly launched Patriot Marine (Industries), which will offer cruising, fishing, and performance boats from 24' to 41'. (The Company is also poised to unveil Carlson's newest innovation -- the VCX hull design.)

Carlson explains his new technology this way: "The whole idea is that it runs itself. It's like a gyro moving faster than you can correct for. In turns, it banks in, but not as much as a V-bottom, and the radar arch works as a true air foil." Sounds like another Carlson design for the ages.

"We are very proud to have famed hull designer, Art Carlson, and the President of Patriot Marine Industries, Ray Wedel -- with over three decades of marine power engineering, hull design and powerboat racing -- on the same team," states Michel Attias, Patriot Motor Corporation CEO. "It is a proven winning combination, based on a long-term working relationship -- spanning many decades -- and we are extremely pleased to have brought these two industry legends together once again."
