Internal Hydro Low Hydro Unit Outperforms Expectations During Display; Displays for Companies, Shareholders to be Ongoing

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 5, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Internal Hydro International, Inc. (OTCBB:IHDR) (www.internalhydro.com) announced today that its positive displacement low hydro technology, the Energy Commander V (EC V), has now operated with an efficiency that exceeded engineered expectations. The efficiency of the EC V using low flows of water into the twelve piston radial system, in the first demonstrations show that the unit will be able to produce the electricity production goal at a lower water pressure than previously published. The EC V consistently operated on lower than calculated water pressures of 50 p.s.i. instead of 65 p.s.i. to produce the force necessary for production of 30 kilowatts from a six inch flow. The unit was demonstrated to partners and select visiting parties on site in Mobile, Alabama on Wednesday. Video of the unit operation is planned to be on the Company's web site by Friday. Ongoing demonstrations will now occur for the unit, as production will now be handed over to IHDR's European partner, Cm2, for delivery of units for entry into multiple area in both North America, Europe, and to fill contracts for unit delivery.

The EC V low impact hydro unit, the first to ever utilize positive displacement by cylinders set in a radial engine form, instead of traditional turbines, will have data flows being made available from the runs in Mobile to show that the technology will fit in tens of thousands of applications and placements. "With this unit, so long awaited, so well achieved, and the demonstrations that we have now conducted in Mobile, the face of alternative energy just changed, right here and right now," stated Craig Huffman, President and CEO of IHDR. "The questions of what was possible are now resolved. Now the only question is how far and how fast this technology reaches the world, producing energy from wasted flows or those that could never be utilized before." With the unit being able to achieve over 90 RPM per minute from 50 p.s.i. flow, the unit achieved more than 20% additional power than planned for. "We never doubted it, and those who had the vision will now be with us," stated Huffman.

The Company's foregoing plan is that the Energy Commander units will be produced by Cm2 in Italy for supply into the U.S. and Europe, and the Company will continue with the data and specifications for sale of the unit, contracting, and placement plans. The unit will continue to be operated in demonstrations to complete data sheets of p.s.i. rates to RPM, energy production, and flows, until the handover of the unit occurs. The Company expects that with the showing of the unit to parties to be invited, the unit will be entered into many additional outlets and sources of contracts to governmental and private entities, who are all inquiring for unit availability.

About Internal Hydro:
