American Access and CPI Customize Solutions to Fulfill Customer Wireless Networking Needs

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla., Nov. 27, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- American Access Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:AATK) reported that the strategic alliance initiated in 2003 between American Access Technologies, Inc. and Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) has been extremely successful in meeting the need for products used in connection with the explosive growth of wireless local area networks. They currently offer fifteen standard products designed for this market.

The growing demand for wireless access "everywhere" has lead to the offering of customized solutions to meet unique customer needs. American Access and CPI work jointly on the alteration of their standard products to fulfill a customer's precise needs. "Although the products offered are already phenomenal, we are more than happy to work with customers to customize for their individual situation, finding their perfect solution," stated Tom Cabral, sales representative for CPI.

The custom solution process begins when a customer requires a solution that is not presently offered by the standard wireless enclosure product line. This is often due to the physical environment or the type of equipment or cabling that needs to fit into the wireless enclosure. Often the product changes are as simple as moving the mounting holes or as involved as re-engineering the overall solution. This interactive process involves American Access Design Engineers and CPI Sales Representatives working to find a feasible solution that suits the customer's application needs and budget.

American Access and CPI have worked with customers to meet the demand for wireless networks in offices, schools, hotels, hospitals, banks, military bases and other environments.

Recently, American Access and CPI helped create a custom solution for a large customer who wanted to go wireless, but needed a wireless enclosure that would fit their existing equipment. Since there was nothing on the market that would work for them, they enlisted the help of American Access and CPI. A custom wireless enclosure was created that would fit into their existing buildings and provided the space that was needed for equipment. Over the next three years this customer plans on purchasing over 1,500 of this custom solution to be installed in new and existing buildings.

By offering custom solutions, American Access and CPI are providing customers with solutions designed to meet their specific needs. Many of these unique solutions also lead to improvements in the standard product line.

American Access and CPI are dedicated to providing their customers with products and support for the evolving wireless networking market.
